Start with fuel or charging access
Gas can be a practical option when you have an appropriate fueling arrangement and do not want your use tied to charging access. Electric ownership starts with an approved charging setup at the place the cart will actually stay. A convenient outlet at home does not solve charging at a separate seasonal property.

Electric is more than one battery type
Flooded lead-acid batteries, sealed AGM batteries and lithium systems have different care requirements.
